Embark on a lively and heartfelt journey through familiar sounds, songs and seasons with Bukit Batok Chinese Orchestra. Featuring traditional Chinese orchestral classics, look forward to highlights from well-loved classics such as Lo Leung-fai's Spring that captures the soundscape of spring with Chinese instruments; Kuan Nai-chung's Harvest Festival that captures the excitement of communal festivities; and Zhan Yongming's arrangement of Ballade of Lan Hua Hua, a stirring dizi concerto inspired by the indomitable spirit of folk character Lan Hua Hua to pursue freedom in love in the face of tyranny. The journey concludes with Peng Xiuwen's beloved arrangement of Blossoms under the Full Moon.
