Navarasä – 9 Emotions 1 Epic explores this question through the lens of the nine universal emotions described in the ancient treatise Natya Shastra—love, humour, compassion, anger, courage, fear, disgust, wonder and peace.
Through nine powerful episodes from the Ramayana, the production takes audiences on an emotional journey that mirrors the complexities of contemporary life.
Presented by the Singapore Indian Orchestra and Choir, this ambitious production blends orchestral and choral music, dance, narration, animation and visual storytelling to create a deeply moving and immersive experience. Rooted in tradition yet profoundly relevant today, Navarasä – 9 Emotions 1 Epic is a celebration of shared humanity and the universal language of emotion.
