Synopsis
Celebrate Singapore Ruan Ensemble’s 20th anniversary with Harmonies Across the Seas—a spectacular multimedia concert and the showstopping grand finale of this year’s Singapore Chinese Music Festival.
Harmonies Across the Seas is a dazzling tribute to the rich tapestry of Asian culture, brought to life by a dynamic blend of music and visuals, guided by a music docent. At its heart is the evocative sound of the ruan, reimagined through exciting collaborations with Southeast Asian, South Asian and East Asian musical traditions.
Drawing from ancient roots, regional art forms and folk heritage, this performance shines a spotlight on Singapore’s role as a vibrant crossroads of culture and creativity. Featuring a stellar lineup of musicians and led by an acclaimed creative team, this immersive production paints a vivid portrait of Asia’s shared spirit and celebrates the richness of Singapore’s multicultural identity.
