My Grandfather’s Road – Ten Year Series 2015–2025: Activations by MIAO DANCE
Synopsis
My Grandfather’s Road – Ten Year Series 2015–2025 traces the decade-long evolution of this project through its various forms. Complementing the showcase is a series of dance activations by Chen Jiexiao and Titisa Jeamsakul (Ice) of MIAO DANCE who will respond to the site, sound and works in the exhibition through improvised movement.
As an independent dance artist, Chen Jiexiao has collaborated with visual artists and has presented his own full-length commissioned production and a full-length duet while involved in teaching. Titisa Jeamsakul (Ice) joined Arts Fission Company in Singapore and was there for two years before becoming an independent movement artist.
