Anindita Acharjee
Anindita started learning kathak at a very early age from Sri Debotosh Nath and Smt. Vaswati Mishra. She has also been under the tutelage of Ms Aditi Mangaldas and has remained a repertory member of the Drishtikon Dance Foundation and The Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company. She has performed at international and national festivals and venues as part of the Drishtikon repertory. She also had the privilege to pursue her dance under Guru Jaikishan Maharaj. Anindita is an empanelled artist at the ICCR, and is also a recipient of the Shringarmani award, awarded by the Government of Maharashtra in the year 2005. She currently teaches kathak to over 100 students in New Delhi.
Dheerendra Tiwari
Akram Khan describes Dheerendra Tiwari as a “firecracker, confident, strong and knowledgeable artist”. Dheerendra is one of the foremost disciples of kathak maestro Rajendra Gangani of the Jaipur gharana. He captivates audiences through fluid movements, impeccable footwork and his mastery of abhinaya, the art of expression in Indian aesthetics. Dheerendra has performed at major festivals around the world and has been a regular member of Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company and The Drishtikon Dance Foundation for many years. He is currently an empanelled artist at the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
Shivangi Dake Robert
Shivangi Dake Robert, an accomplished kathak artist and international performer, brings a transcendent blend of tradition and gracefulness to the classical dance landscape. Trained by luminaries such as Guru Dr. Sadhna Naphde and Pandit Birju Maharajji, she holds a national scholarship from the Government of India and has numerous awards to her name. Shivangi has passionately imparted the grace of kathak as a dedicated teacher in Singapore for nearly a decade. Her performances have captivated audiences worldwide, from New York and Tokyo to Kuala Lumpur, Reunion Island and India. Boasting a master's degrees in fine arts (M.F.A., Kathak Dance) from Nagpur University and a master's equivalent (Alankar, Kathak) from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Shivangi stands as an exemplary force, seamlessly weaving tradition and creativity onto the world stage. She is currently the resident kathak artist at Apsaras Dance Company and kathak faculty at Apsaras Arts Academy in Singapore.
