Synopsis

What does it mean to grow up learning Indian classical dance?

Rooted in Tradition: A Youthful Insight invites you to step into the world of young dancers exploring what makes learning Indian traditional arts exciting for them! Is it the thrill of movement, the art of storytelling or simply discovering something new about themselves?

Our storyteller bridges these traditional art forms and contemporary life, asking: How do the stories of yesterday fit into my life today?

This performance showcases the young students of Temple of Fine Arts, demonstrating how traditional art forms evolve with time, remaining a living language for the next generation.
