Not Quite Murukku
Synopsis
Manisha is excited to help Amma with their annual murukku-making marathon in preparation for Deepavali. This year, it’s finally her turn to try swirling her own creations into the hot oil. But unlike Amma’s perfectly symmetrical swirls, Manisha’s murukku is not quite right.
Zigzagging, lopsided, broken coils and lumps—why can’t hers look like Amma’s? Disappointed, she throws in the towel.
That night, in a whimsical whirl of buttery crumbs, Manisha is visited by Twisty the Murukku Genie-us, who takes her on an adventure to discover the deliciously diverse world of murukku.
Will she find the confidence to give the press one more twist before the celebrations begin?
