Confluence: Indian Classical x Jazz
Synopsis
Indian music has continuously evolved through encounters with different cultures, sounds and musical traditions. Drawing on this rich history of exchange, the performance brings jazz-inspired harmonies, rhythms and improvisation into Indian musical frameworks. It explores how jazz techniques can be adapted to Indian instruments, allowing each to shape the way the other is heard and played.
