Synopsis

A young girl encounters an unseen AI companion. Curious about the world around her, she asks the voice to help her create the perfect town. As the AI bot proposes increasingly logical and efficient solutions, the young girl repeatedly responds with a simple question: “What if?”

Through a series of conversations, songs and movement sequences, audiences are introduced to different parts of a place called Maybe—a town where community matters, where cultures are explored with openness, where people gather through music and celebration, where love is experienced before it is analysed, and where faith is practiced through surrender rather than fear.

A Little Town Called Maybe offers a gentle reflection on contemporary society while celebrating the values that continue to bring people together.

At its heart, the work asks: What if the future we seek is not one that is more advanced, but one that is more compassionate, connected and human?
