Swingin' with Maya Raisha
Synopsis
Inspired by her adventures in New York City, vocalist Maya Raisha returns to Esplanade with an evening of playful vocal stylings and intimate jazz renditions. Drawing from the Great American Songbook—classics written in the first half of the 20th century—she is set to present original interpretations of enduring jazz standards. Maya will also perform her unique style of jazz vocalese, singing original lyrics written to bebop melodies. Every audience member will find themselves tapping their feet to the beat, as Maya swings the night away with jazz tunes that defined a century.
