Synopsis

Across three 30-minute sets, singer-songwriter and vocalist Peter performs original songs written across different contexts, for himself, for his ensemble MICappella, and for other artists. Presented in a solo setting, the programme reflects his personal journey through these works, tracing how his voice, perspective and musical language have evolved over time.

Moving across ballads, pop, hip hop, R&B and rap, the set flows naturally from one mood to another, reflecting the different ways Peter tells stories through music. As a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist on vocals, keyboard and guitar, he shapes each song with care and curiosity, allowing small details, groove and feeling to guide the way each song unfolds.

Rooted in Mandarin pop and comfortably bilingual, his music bridges cultures and styles in a way that feels lived-in and natural. Intimate and conversational, this showcase invites audiences to listen closely, offering a window into a personal journey told through songs that have travelled with him across different stages of his life.
