WUSHIREN 吾是人 is a physical theatre group based in Singapore in search of a “theatre beyond theatre.”

They work across disciplines to explore the emerging potentials of theatre as a meeting place, and the body as both source and vessel. Their approach is organic and deeply embodied, rooted in Taiji philosophy, and integrates movement, voice, song, and text to create evocative and visceral encounters which are sensed and felt. At the heart of their practice is a commitment to continual research and non-stagnation, explored through creative laboratories and process-driven performance making.
