Singapore Nuclear Academic Family Unit (SNAFU) Wind Quintet
Consisting of some of the finest wind musicians in Singapore, the Singapore Nuclear Academic Family Unit (SNAFU) Wind Quintet is a fun-loving bunch that was formed out of a collective love of wind chamber music. The members include Kelsey (flute), Reynard Ardian (oboe), Gao Xiao Xuan (horn), Liu Jia Yu (bassoon) and Chua Jay Roon (clarinet). SNAFU Winds recently won second place at the Princess Galyani Vadhana International Ensemble Competition. Its individual members have also received various accolades and have performed internationally. Apart from striving for musical excellence, the quintet believes that classical music should be accessible to all, and their jovial attitude can be heard in the music they bring to the stage!
