Esplanade Presents
12 Feb 2026, Thu, 6.45pm & 7.45pm
(Intermission: None)
Esplanade Concourse
Alison Wong joins forces with the Off-Menu trio to present music from two composers separated by culture and time. Be lulled to rest by the tender lyricism of Johannes Brahms, or roused by Jonathan Shin's siren call to all insomniacs. This strange and enthralling programme of night and nature will no doubt beguile and spellbind audiences—truly not to be missed.

What's off-menu, chef? Yang Shuxiang (violin), Leslie Tan (cello) and Jonathan Shin (piano) perform contemporary works alongside canonical music, always with a relish for the extremes in the concert experience.
Alison Wong
Alison Wong enjoys a working relationship with local ensembles Chroma and Red Dot Baroque, and has appeared as a soloist in works ranging from J.S. Bach's St John Passion to Chen Zhangyi's Kampung Spirit. Alison's background is in choral music, and she periodically dabbles in hosting and voiceover work.
