Step back in time with Kenchana Trio, a soulful ensemble that brings to life beloved songs from Malay and Indonesian TV shows and movies.

 

Led by Singapore’s very own crooner Rudy Djoe on vocals, joined by the expressive Mansoor Mohamed on piano and the dynamic Niq Osman on drums, the trio rekindles the warmth and nostalgia of tunes that once filled our living rooms and silver screens.

 

Featuring classics such as Dedaun Masa (M. Nasir), Cinta Pertama (Anna Manthovani), and Pelangi Petang (Sudirman), this special showcase invites audiences to relive the golden era of storytelling—when every song carried emotion, memory and meaning.

 

Let Kenchana Trio take you on a heartfelt musical journey through the songs that shaped generations—the true Soundtrack of Our Hearts.

Rudy Djoe (Vocalist & Band Leader)

A crooner celebrated for his smooth, honey-toned vocals and soulful interpretations, Rudy Djoe bridges jazz, nostalgia and Malay classics with elegance and sincerity. Dubbed “Suara Madu” (Voice of Honey) by Singapore’s King of Swing Jeremy Monteiro, Rudy’s artistry captures the emotional depth and timeless beauty of songs that continue to resonate across generations.

Mansoor Mohamed (Piano)

A veteran music director and composer, Mansoor Mohamed has contributed extensively to Singapore’s Malay television and entertainment scene. He has composed and arranged numerous theme songs for local TV dramas, leaving a lasting legacy in the country’s musical heritage.

Niq Osman (Drums & Percussion)

With over five decades of musical experience, Niq Osman is a respected drummer and percussionist whose rhythmic finesse has graced countless stages and music venues. He has played for the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) combo and orchestra, as well as for numerous prominent bands and clubs throughout his distinguished career.
