Join KR Harmonica for an evening of nostalgia and discovery as the ensemble brings iconic soundtracks from beloved anime series to life through the unexpected voice of the harmonica.

 

From soaring cinematic themes to playful tunes, audiences can look forward to fresh arrangements of Tracing That Dream, Passion Continent, Merry-Go-Round of Life, Totoro Suite and Until the End of the World.

 

As one of the few harmonica ensembles in Singapore, KR Harmonica blends tradition with innovation, exploring new possibilities for this niche yet captivating instrument. Expect a unique experience where familiar melodies are reimagined in harmonica and delivered with passion.

KR Harmonica is a Singapore-based harmonica ensemble first formed in the early 2000s by NUS students and alumni under the guidance of Japanese harmonica maestro Yasuo Watani.

 

The group was re-established in 2023 by a team of NUS Harmonica alumni to provide a platform for harmonica enthusiasts to reconnect with the instrument and continue innovating beyond campus life.

 

Known for their versatility and creativity, KR Harmonica explores a wide range of genres, from classical to pop, and collaborates with other instruments to expand the harmonica’s voice. Within just a year of reforming, the ensemble launched its own Indulgence concert series and is steadily growing both its repertoire and its community.
