Voices from Within

AMPLIFY is a newly formed ground-up initiative that hopes to inspire ex-offenders to perform music and upgrade their musical skills. The team performing Voices from Within comprises Mohd Yazid, Mohamed Razif, Mohammad Ridzwan, Tan Wil Khiam, Mohammad Zahari B Saad, Norman Bin Yased, Syed Muhammad Khairuddin, Shaun Paul Lee and Ahmad Arafat bin Abu Hassan.

Through their love for music, the band has been on a journey to turn their lives around and inspire others who may have lost their way. With the support of close friends and mentors, they are ready to break the silence surrounding second chances and amplify their voices within for all to hear! 

Intune Music was founded in 2007 by pianist Peng Chi Sheng and vocalist Aaron Matthew Lim. Striving to inspire musicians from all walks of life, Intune Music has conducted music and performance lessons for inmates in Changi Prison since 2014. Lim and Peng continue to keep in contact with students even after their release from prison. In the year 2020, they founded the Yellow Ribbon PAC Alumni, which then evolved in 2025 to become AMPLIFY. It is their hope that through these regular music jamming sessions and performance opportunities, the band members can continue to stay grounded and begin to believe in themselves again.
