Gabriel & Dennis

Gabriel and Dennis grew up in Suzhou, China, and have been playing music together since they were in secondary school. Gabriel was known as the “singing boy”, and Dennis “the drummer boy”. The duo brought their talents together and teamed up, playing together in three different bands before Dennis had to leave for national service in Singapore. Charting his own course, Dennis crafted a rap and R&B career as “Jelex” amassing 50k monthly Spotify listeners. Meanwhile Gabriel started writing his own songs and busking, which led him to appearon Mediacorp’s Battle of the Buskers. 

After leaving the army, the duo reunited once again to play on the streets of Singapore. They are now branded as “The China Boys”, an homage to where they came from.
