This National Day, join Vanessa and Nadya as they celebrate the best and brightest of the local music scene, singing songs from well-loved Singaporean artists, as well as familiar NDP tunes that Singaporeans have loved since childhood. Come reminisce, enjoy good music, laugh and participate in some fun interactive games!
No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Vanessa Kee
Vanessa is proud to be a locally born and bred theatre actress and HDB girl.
Recent notable credits include Susan in Tick..Tick.. Boom! (Sightlines), Audrey in The Little Shop of Horrors (Sing’theatre), Helena in Shakespeare in the Park's A Midsummer Night's Dream (Singapore Theatre Company), and Fraulein Kost in Cabaret (Sing'theatre), to name a few.
Her extensive credits also include leading and lead understudy roles in LKY The Musical (STC), AIDA (Dir. Joe Barros), Fiddler on the Roof (Dir. Emily Maltby), Maria (Rehearsal) in The Sound of Music International Tour (Broadway International), Into the Woods, Urinetown the Musical (Pangdemonium), A Spoonful of Sherman, Quasimodo the Musical and [Title of Show] (Sing'Theatre).
She dedicates the stage to her theatre guardian angels, M&S.
Nadya Zaheer
Nadya Zaheer is a singer and actress who graduated with a BA (Hons) Musical Theatre degree from LASALLE College of the Arts. Her theatre credits playing the titular role in Wild Rice’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Secondary: The Musical (Checkpoint Theatre), Three Years in the Life and Death of Land (The Necessary Stage), The Paiseh Pieces (The Second Breakfast Company) and Assembly (Drama Box). Beyond the stage, she actively engages in other artistic endeavours, including running two different collectives—@strawberriesinc and @anyhowplayplay (follow us on IG!). Nadya is also a dedicated voice instructor at The Voice Company. She aspires to spread love, kindness and empathy through her work.
