This performance features students from the BA (Hons) Music programme at LASALLE College of the Arts, University of the Arts Singapore.

Emerging from the restless neighbourhoods of Singapore, YAØ is a rising multi-hyphenate (singer-songwriter-producer) whose musical confections sound like the love child of urban soul and contemporary pop, blending his love for R&B, Japanese City Pop and a plethora of other genres that he frequently explores to tell his stories. He started his musical journey in 2018, releasing songs on Spotify that later gained millions of streams, resulting in an active monthly listenership of 175,000. He would go on to sign with Universal Music from 2021 to 2023 and has since released classics such as 'I Can't Sleep' and 'Hostage', with the latter breaking into Singapore's 50 most viral hits. His accolades include the “Top Radar Artist SG & MY” in 2022 from Spotify and he presently holds a spot in Spotify’s “Top Singaporean Artists of 2023” playlist.
