The Next Chapter – A Reading with Singapore’s Latest Literary Talents

This reading is organised by Sing Lit Station, a local literary non-profit that promotes Singaporean literature.  

Jonathan Chan is a writer and editor of poems and essays. Born in New York to a Malaysian father and South Korean mother, he was raised in Singapore and educated at Cambridge and Yale Universities. He is the author of the poetry collection going home (Landmark, 2022). He edits, reads, and reviews at PR&TA, The Plentitudes, and Quarterly Literary Review Singapore.

Ng Ziqin is the author of Every School A Good School, which was shortlisted for the Epigram Books Fiction Prize in 2022. She is currently an undergraduate law student at the National University of Singapore. One day, Ziqin hopes to achieve her lifelong dream of writing whodunits from the elegant seclusion of a European cave house.
