Synopsis

Kavithai Kumizhi, which translates to “a bubble of poetry”, is a night of Tamil spoken word poetry, storytelling, and live music. The showcase reflects on the loss of biodiversity and its impact on human society, in commemoration of Earth Hour. This is an invitation for audiences to meditate on the fragility of the relationship between humans and nature, as well as our role in environmental conservation.
