Synopsis

Songs Re:Imagined is a collaboration of songs, stories, lives and performers. Coming together from different worlds, experiences and performing styles, it is a collaboration among friends (who happen to also be neighbours!) brought together by the love and power of music to re-tell, re-interpret, and re-discover.

 

With a repertoire ranging from crossover duets to modern pop songs and old standards, L.I.P. takes the audience on a unique journey of songs reimagined.

Mask-wearing is optional. However, audiences are encouraged to continue to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places. No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

L.I.P. is Leslie Tay, Ivan Choong and Pauline Lee.

 

Tenor Leslie Tay is a classically trained singer who has performed a range of operatic roles with many of Singapore’s opera companies. He is also an experienced choral conductor and voice teacher actively sharing his experience with the next generation.

 

Ivan Choong is an actor, singer and new playwright, and has been fortunate to work with and learn from industry players across theatre, musicals and film.

 

They are accompanied by Pauline Lee on piano—a chamber musician, accompanist and repetiteur who has performed individually and actively with a range of soloists and opera companies in Singapore and beyond.
