Join NovoBloco and Bloco Singapura this festive season for an entrancing evening of pulsating drums and dance alongside family and friends, both old and new.

Bloco Singapura is an all-inclusive community crazy about Carnaval rhythms and spreading infectious grooves. Bloco’s performances are nothing short of joyous and inspirational!

 

Founded in 2008 by Singaporean music director, composer and teacher Syed Ahmad, local percussion group Bloco Singapura is Singapore’s first and only samba school. Performing Brazilian percussive styles, Bloco Singapura infuses samba rhythms with local flavours by having the rhythms transferred to new instruments used by the band. Their rhythmic drumming and energising performances have delighted audiences in cities all over the world like Dili, Mumbai and Bali.
