Synopsis

Revisit one of the most exciting performances from eXchΔnge in June 2022 by female dikir barat ensemble Ardwinda of ITE College Central!

 

Audiences can look forward to an infusion of various music genres like Latin pop, Brazilian percussion, Wind ensemble music and even rap melded with dikir barat accompanied by the groups Batisdas Centro, Central Music Club and ITE Concert Band.

Advisory:

Mask-wearing is optional. However, audiences are encouraged to continue to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places. No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ardwinda is a team of female dikir barat musicians from ITE College Central who strive to uphold the traditions of dikir barat with a contemporary twist. Two-time champions of Piala Suara Serempun Tertiary Competition 2021 and 2022, they are known for their light-hearted and captivating performances.

 

Seasoned performers Batidas Centro and the Central Music Club who also hail from ITE College Central will accompany the group to energise and bring joy to the audience.

 

ITE Concert Band are made up of members from all three colleges under the umbrella of the ITE Centre of Music and the Arts.
