Synopsis

Join Singapore Char Siew Bao! as they take you through their musical journey over the last decade and a half, from starting as an accidental wedding band to being featured on national television.

 

Expect to hear familiar favourites from the likes of The Carpenters, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Jason Mraz, Journey, as well as Shanghai jazz renditions of Teresa Teng classics as well as the enduring getai hit One Million Dollars.

Mask-wearing is optional. However, audiences are encouraged to continue to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places. No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Singapore Char Siew Bao! is a dynamic and energetic four piece consisting of Ruby (vocal / djembe), Jason (vocal / guitar), Jacob (vocal / guitar), and Dominic (vocal / saxophone).

 

The band’s repertoire spans a wide range of genres and languages, from jazz and oldies to pop and rock in English, Mandarin and the occasional Chinese dialect number.

 

Having been active in the local live music circuit for the last 15 years, the band was previously featured on national television in programmes such as One Moment of Glory and the President Star Charity.
