Esplanade Presents
20 Mar 2026, Fri, 6.45pm & 7.45pm
(Intermission: None)
Esplanade Concourse
Harpist Charmaine Teo brings the harp to life through humour, storytelling, and expressive music. What happens when a harp wakes up with too much energy? It stretches, explores, hums familiar tunes, runs away from broccoli and eats too much cake. Through seamless narration between pieces, children experience contrast in sound—fast and slow, loud and soft, calm and exciting—while discovering the surprising versatility of the harp. Funny, warm, and relatable, this performance invites young listeners to experience music in a way that feels playful and wonderfully human.
