Join us for an evening of youthful, joyful music, featuring popular hits from Disney classics, nostalgic anime and J-Pop!

 

We open with the playful, timeless charm of Do-Re-Mi, setting a lighthearted tone before wandering into the whimsical forest of Joe Hisaishi’s My Neighbor Totoro. The programme then grooves forward with the upbeat rhythms of Bruno Mars’ Runaway Baby and the hopeful, soaring melodies of Espoir, injecting fresh excitement and momentum into the evening.

 

Romance, adventure, and a touch of Disney magic come together through the grand suites of Beauty and the Beast and the sparkling melodies of Tangled. The evening reaches a thrilling climax with Japanese Graffiti XVIII!

 

From nostalgic classics to modern power pop, we hope to delight listeners of all ages with an evening of youthful and joyful music!

The Band Academy Singapore (BAS) Ensemble is the performing heart of Band Academy Singapore, a premier music education centre dedicated to nurturing young musicians through high-quality wind band training.

 

Founded in 2024 by a team of passionate Singaporean conductors and educators, BAS works with musicians of all levels, creating meaningful ensemble experiences that celebrate collaboration, creativity and the spirit of community. By serving as a vital conduit between aspiring talent and the professional standards of Singapore’s vibrant wind band landscape, the ensemble serves as a dedicated platform where musical growth goes hand-in-hand with character development.
