Mad Labs 5.0

Since its formation in 2020, Litmus Jazz Ensemble has established itself within Singapore’s contemporary jazz scene. Starting out as a sandbox project for original jazz compositions, the band first gained recognition in 2021 through its music video series LITMUS Sessions.

With original music that draws from jazz, funk and neo-soul, the Litmus Jazz Ensemble has brought their distinctive sound to audiences across Singapore and the region. They have performed at festivals such as Gastrobeats 2022, Singapore Night Festival 2023, and JZ Festival 2025, and have taken their music to audiences in Hong Kong, Seoul and Shanghai.

With a new album currently in the works, the ensemble hopes to continue sharing their love for jazz with local and global audiences.
