A play of words on the musical term accelerando (Italian for “gradually becoming faster”) and the traditional Chinese music instrument, ruan, AcceleRUANdo gathers youths from different walks of life through their collective passion for the ruan, The young talents embody a vibrant zeal of bringing traditional Chinese music to a modern audience. While musical landscapes constantly shift and advance, the youthful exuberance of AcceleRUANdo seeks to harmoniously bridge the gaps between tradition and modernity, and most importantly, hold a space for friends to make music and have fun together!
