Esplanade Presents
6 Jun 2026, Sat, 4pm & 7pm
(Intermission: None)
Esplanade Concourse
Juggling Combat returns this season with a new champion to be crowned. Inspired by the one-on-one, three club juggling combat sport held at juggling conventions and festivals, competitors start by juggling three clubs each—and then battle it out to break each other’s juggling rhythm. The last person left juggling wins! With the tempo constantly in flux, competitors must adapt and apply their unique styles to achieve victory.
No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Aqeel Sidek
Aqeel began his circus arts journey in 2018, spending four years playing unicycle hockey before discovering a local circus group. Today, he utilises circus as a medium for both entertainment and education for the community. With his energetic nature, be sure to watch closely for his impressive combat juggling moves.
Chia Xin Fang
Xin Fang has been juggling for more than half her life—and she’s still not done figuring it out. She loves passing and combat juggling, where timing is everything, trust is optional... and chaos is guaranteed. Best not to stand too close!
Choo Zheng Hao
Zheng Hao has been using juggling as an excuse to throw things around since he was ten years old. To the dismay of his downstairs neighbours, he has never stopped practising. He enjoys teaching and sharing the art of juggling with everyone, with the exception of his combat juggling rivals.
Ong Zihao
Zihao’s juggling journey began after a chance encounter with a circus street performer sparked his passion for the art. He has since explored a wide range of props, including cigar boxes, diabolo, clubs and balls. In the past year, he developed his own juggling show and has been performing it on the streets, sharing his craft with live audiences.
Reuben Teoh
Reuben has been juggling since 2021, working mainly with balls and clubs. He enjoys challenging himself with new tricks and developing his solo skills. He also likes passing and combat juggling, especially the coordination and teamwork it involves. Overall, he finds juggling very fun and exciting.
Robin Curtis
Robin remembers seeing juggling for the first time in primary school when he was just seven years old. He never imagined that 20 years later, juggling would be his full-time job. Robin enjoys club juggling, especially at night with LED props. Although he has not had much experience combat juggling, he will be sure to put up a good fight!
Tay Di Hong
Di Hong has spent over a decade juggling and teaching hundreds of beginners along the way. He believes juggling is the ideal hobby—fun, challenging and surprisingly addictive—and that anyone can learn with the right approach. Whether passing in groups or battling it out in combat, he enjoys the social side of juggling.
