Diva Night with The Vibes

Founded in 2008 by one of Singapore’s football legends Rafi Ali, The Vibes bring their passion and energy to every performance. Be it rock and roll, soulful ballads, pop rock or classic rock, the band entertains audiences with music from a wide variety of genres and eras. As the resident band at Timbre Group, BRIX and YOUNGS Bar & Restaurant, get ready for a night of great music and good vibes with The Vibes! 

Just like the tenacity he displayed on the footfall field back in the day, Rafi Ali is just as passionate and talented on the drums. In 2008, he founded The Vibes and continues his mission of sharing his experiences and knowledge to younger musicians in the industry. As a veteran musician who has been playing the drums since 2005, he continues to lead his band in delivering high energy performances at every gig. 

Anthea Anne is a vocalist, dancer, performer and songwriter. She was the lead vocalist of former all-female rock band, KYRA. She is known for her versatility – singing melodic riffs ranging from Pop, R&B/Soul to Rock. Singing along to Whitney Houston's hits during car rides ever since the tender age of two was what sparked her early passion for music. She is never a stranger to the stage, and always enthralls audiences with her powerful vocals at every performance. 

Shukor has been performing for over 35 years with several prestigious bands at various concerts, clubs and even in countries like Indonesia, Finland and Taiwan, to name a few. He was also a session guitarist for Mediacorp Suria Orchestra, OMS NUS ORCHESTRA and for well-known regional artists like Ramli Sarip Rahimah Rahim, Coco Lee and more. He currently teaches the guitar at several music schools. 

Sham is a veteran bassist who has been playing the bass since 1993. He has performed locally in Papa Joes, Pump Room, Warehouse, Timbre to name a few, and on stages outside of Singapore including Amsterdam, Japan, Dubai, South Korea, Hong Kong and Indonesia. Sham also actively educates the next generation of musicians as a bass teacher. 

Dindo is a veteran musician of the Singapore nightlife scene, having performed in places such as Europa, Bar None, Raffles Hotel, Marina Bay Sands, Pump Room and Aquanova. As a solo pianist, Dindo has accompanied local artists such as Hady Mirza, Linda Elizabeth, Wendy Koh, Aliah and Douglas Olivero.

As a saxophonist for the past 30 years, Noah started his career in music with the military band, working with The Music & Drama Company, and performing in night-clubs and bars. Subsequently, he furthered his studies in classical music, and has also worked with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra as a solo saxophonist. Throughout his journey as a saxophonist, he has worked with orchestras, theatres, big bands and various show bands, doing studio recordings and live performances. He has performed around Europe and South East Asia. Currently, he is a full time music teacher and a performer.

Known for her powerhouse vocals and electrifying energy, Hanita has been a singer and entertainer for the past 30 years. Back in 2012, she was a contestant in Anugerah V – a flagship Malay talent discovery competition by Mediacorp. In 2019, she represented Singapore on Golden Memories Asia – a singing competition held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Today, she performs at various establishments and events, alongside other talented musicians.
