A Cappella Showcase: SIT & Ngee Ann Poly

Founded in 2013, Just Singers is Singapore Institute of Technology’s (SIT) very own a cappella club, dedicated to the art of vocal music without instrumental accompaniment. Whether they’re covering popular hits or singing their very own unique arrangements, Just Singers bring their passion, talent and creativity to every performance.

The Major Seven is a dynamic a cappella group known for their rich harmonies, dynamic grooves and heartfelt performances. Formed by a group of seniors from Ngee Ann Poly Voices A Cappella (NPVA) who wanted to continue pursuing their passion for music, The Major Seven aims to inspire audiences with their soulful ballads, jazz harmony or upbeat pop performances.

Guided by MICappella’s Calin Wong, Ngee Ann Polytechnic Voices A Cappella (NPVA) has grown from strength to strength, building a tight-knit family of passionate singers united by their love for music and singing. Whether it’s shaping harmonies, exploring different musical styles of nailing a tricky arrangement, the group has worked hard to shape their unique sound – with every member’s unique voice having a place to shine.
