A dash of Lady Gaga, a pinch of Bruno Mars, a sprinkle of the Spice Girls, and so much more… Come and lend your voice to a mass sing-along session featuring some of your all-time favourite pop hits, led by the wacky and energetic Siao Sing Songs!
No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
August Lum
August is a J.O.A.T. (Jack of all trades), much like Juni Goh—not the sibling of a goat, but a versatile talent. He creates original music and arranges (and re-arranges) the work of others. It is difficult to pigeonhole August, but that’s beside the point. What truly matters is that his creations are powerful in their ability to carry a story and emotionally impact audiences.
Eugene Khong
By day, Eugene is an accountant who keeps the numbers in check, but his true passion lies in music, which brings balance to his life. With years of choral singing experience, he has come to appreciate the power of harmony, not just in music but in everything he does. Beyond choral arrangements, Eugene’s musical tastes range from infectious pop hits to stirring ballads, offering a creative counterpoint to the meticulous work in finance. Whether crunching numbers or crafting melodies, Eugene thrives on finding rhythm and harmony in both his professional and musical pursuits.
Jamie Lee
Jamie is a versatile freelance drummer and percussionist. She performs with the band The MadHatter Project and also works as a session drummer various artists and lineups. Her recent credits include Where Our Heart Beats (a musical production presented by Tan Tock Seng for Tan Tock Seng's 180th Anniversary, 2024), Katong Dreaming and Origin (The MadHatter Project, 2023) and Out-of-Bounds (Fill The Vamp, 2022). Her latest notable session work was with 啊冗 for his concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium during the Hitz Concert 2023 潮浪•流行音乐演唱会.
Preston Lim
Preston is a musical theatre performer by night and software engineer by day. His recent theatre credits include Jonathan Larson in Tick, Tick… Boom!, Rapunzel’s Prince in Into the Woods and Phoebus in Quasimodo, A Musical Story.
When he isn’t performing, Preston works on building software systems to combat mosquito-borne diseases at Verily (formerly known as Google Life Sciences). He is also pursuing a PhD in Public Health at the National University of Singapore, specialising in mathematical modelling for mosquito control.
Preston studied classical voice at Stanford University, where he also earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science.
Stephanie Phang
Stephanie, or more commonly known as Step, navigates life as a singer, vocal coach, audio describer and emcee. Heavily influenced by pop, musical theatre and Disney, she takes great joy in crafting cheeky parodies as the main lyricist for Siao Sing Songs.
Her selected credits include recording commercial voice-overs for brands such as Starhub, L’Oreal and Volkswagen. She has also presented the Introduction to Harmonising for Esplanade – Theatre on the Bay’s Vocal Focal series. Additionally, Steph made her professional lyricist debut in the original local musical, The Paiseh Pieces by The Second Breakfast Company and premiered her solo concert, Steph Phang x Siao Sing Songs at Esplanade in 2023.
Tiara Yap
Tiara is an actor, digital creator and voiceover artist currently based in Singapore. Formerly a content strategist and cast member at local comedy platform SGAG, she loves that Siao Sing Songs allows her to create music and parodies at the same time.
Recent stage credits include Secondary: The Musical (Checkpoint Theatre), Por Por’s Big Fat Surprise Wedding (Singapore Repertory Theatre), The Wonderful World of Dissocia (Wild Rice), Fat Kids Are Harder to Kidnap 2023 (How Drama) and Quest - The White Hare (Toy Factory Productions). She also will be taking on the title role in Little Red Riding Hood by Wild Rice in early 2025.
Recent screen credits include Charlene in AsiaOne’s first narrative web series Shag Sia, as well as Mabel in Tomorrow, Today, a short film directed by K Rajagopal.
Tiara is a graduate of Young & Wild, Wild Rice’s award-winning youth ensemble led by Edith Podesta. She trained in theatre at Northeastern University in Boston and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Nanyang Technological University, where she also minored in Drama & Performance.
