Established in 1990, Kelana Purba is considered to be one of the giants in the dikir barat scene boasting impressive accolades which includes being crowned champions of the prestigious national competition Mega Perdana a whopping seven times. The 80-strong active members are currently made up of experienced seniors as well as effervescent young talents, always ready to put up an entertaining and energetic performance.

Makyong Kedek has been a prominent presence in the dikir barat scene since it was established in 1995, securing titles like the 2000 and 2010 Mega Perdana. With nearly 200 members, they have showcased their talent at esteemed events like the National Day Parade and Chingay Festival. The group’s dedication extends to mentoring the next generation by partnering with schools and building a strong rapport with Malaysian dikir barat groups to preserve the art's essence while encouraging its growth.
