Sandy Winarta, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Music, received a scholarship to advance his musical studies at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York. Mentored by jazz luminaries including Reggie Workman, Arman Donelian, and Joe Martin, he has become a notable figure in the jazz scene, gaining recognition in Asia and beyond. With performances at venues like the Blue Note Tokyo, alongside GRAMMY-winning saxophonist Everett Harp, Sandy continues to enthrall audiences globally.
