Synopsis

Whether you're intrigued by the art of jagua tattooing or drawn to the elegance of Chinese ink paintings, this workshop is the perfect starting point.

 

In this workshop, learn the basics of drawing and shading with jagua, and create your own tattoos inspired by traditional Chinese ink paintings. With multi-disciplinary artist and Jagua tattoo expert HEYCYANN, you’ll be guided through the entire process, and given step-by-step demonstrations as well as personal guidance.

Discover the magic of semi-permanent tattoos with Cyann (HEYCYANN). Cyann is a multi-disciplinary artist who has established a strong reputation for her exceptional work in semi-permanent tattoos. Drawn with a plant-based ink (known as Jagua), her intricate designs leave a beautiful midnight-blue stain on the skin that rival the look of permanent tattoos, lasting for approximately two weeks. Her talent has been recognised by prominent publications such as L'Officiel, FEMALE, TheSmartLocal, as well as brands such as Kate Spade, Prada, Adidas and more. She has also been invited to practise and showcase her craft globally, in cities such as London and Kuala Lumpur.
