Marcus Cheong (Vocalist)

His passion for acting started at age 13 when he joined his secondary school’s drama club, with whom he was cast as the lead in their entry to the Singapore Youth Festival competition. Marcus was a part of Pangdemonium’s Triple Threats Programme in 2017, which sparked his interest in musical theatre. He graduated with BA (First Class Hons) in Musical Theatre at LASALLE College of the Arts and he is currently freelancing as a performer, speech & drama and musical theatre educator. Marcus will be starring in Singapore Theatre Company (STC) The Little Company’s upcoming musical production of Three Little Pigs in July 2024.

Nurulhuda Hassan (Vocalist)

Instagram

Nurul is an actor and singer who finds immense joy working across a variety of mediums and languages. Her performance credits span musical theatre productions (Sing’theatre’s Little Shop of Horrors, dir. TJ Taylor), (Sing’theatre’s I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!, dir. TJ Taylor), (7/8 Collective's In Pieces, dir. Eleanor Tan), opera (The Opera People’s Der Zwerg, dir. Edith Podesta) and most recently, a rock concert (Sing’theatre’s Au Bout De Mes Rêves). A penchant for language-learning has also led her to perform in Malay, French and German.

Beyond the thrill of traversing various mediums and languages, she especially appreciates the power of theatre, music, and storytelling to bring people together. Nurul is excited to storm the stage next in Wild Rice’s upcoming production, National Day Charade, premiering Jul 2024.
