Synopsis

Dominic Chin performs stripped down versions of his originals Better, Aware and new single iykyk. He will also cover songs that have inspired him musically over the years.

Dominic Chin

Singapore-based pop artist Dominic Chin creates music with his distinct voice and a blend of electro-pop, soul and R&B. Fuelled by life and all its awkward contradictions, he pens songs that resonate deeply with his audience. Chin started covering songs on YouTube in 2010 and his channel has a total viewership of over 2 million and more than 9,580 subscribers to date. He has performed at The Star Vista, Indoor Stadium, Istana and Sands Theatre.

 

After the viral success of You First Believed, a tribute song he wrote for Singapore’s founding father Lee Kuan Yew in 2014, he was inspired to write more originals for himself. In 2020, he released his debut EP Licence To Cry, garnering over 1 million streams worldwide. His concert Re: Licence to Cry sold-out at the Esplanade Recital Studio in 2021.
