Synopsis

Relive the iconic doo wop and close harmonies of The Andrews and The Boswell Sisters in this double bill featuring The Dandy Doo Wops and The Sugar Bees. Performing iconic tunes from the ‘40s, ‘50s and beyond, this performance will get everyone tapping their feet and swaying along.

The Dandy Doo Wops

Created especially for the Voices festival, The Dandy Doo Wops comprise Singapore’s dandiest performers TJ, Preston, Josh, Tony, Jing Sen and Brian. Join them as they perform toe-tapping tunes from artists including The Beach Boys and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons through to Bruno Mars and even Amy Winehouse. Swoon to classic doo wop tunes, breaking some hearts along the way.

Harmony never sounded so sweet… not since The Sugar Bees have been buzzin’ about! This close-harmony trio has been dedicated to breathing new life into old-fashioned tunes since 2018. The Sugar Bees will be joined by guitarist Kenzo Nagari, an Indonesia-born, Singapore-based guitarist / hip-hop beatmaker. One of his favourite things is to make music with people he loves, The Sugar Bees included. Let Nagari’s swinging guitar accompaniment to the sweet harmony of The Sugar Bees get you up and dancing!
