Synopsis

On the night of the full moon, Chinese Theatre Circle presents classic Cantonese opera excerpts from Illusive Dreams and General Di Qing’s Escape. This performance is put together by Gary Ong, May Choong, Ian Kwok and Nancy Lee.

Advisory:

Mask-wearing is optional. However, audiences are encouraged to continue to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places.  No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Chinese Theatre Circle

Chinese Theatre Circle (CTC) was established in 1981 and its mission is to promote Chinese opera, music and dance in Singapore and beyond our shores. CTC has staged close to 2,500 performances in Singapore and in 30 countries and territories including America, Canada, China, England, Germany, Japan, Korea, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine. In its bid to keep the tradition alive, CTC provides training programmes for young, aspiring artists.
