The Musicians' Initiative String Quartet
Synopsis
The Musicians’ Initiative String Quartet performs a curated selection of beloved orchestral masterpieces against the backdrop of the stunning Singapore skyline. From the thundering intensity of Vivaldi’s Summer and the flowing river of Smetana’s Die Moldau, to the celestial power of Holst’s Jupiter and the festive charm of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker March, every note tells a story. The evening takes a sultry turn with the revolutionary sounds of Piazzolla’s Libertango and Gardel’s iconic Por Una Cabeza, before concluding with a special nod to local heritage through Kelly Tang’s celebrated arrangement of Rasa Sayang.
