Synopsis

Join Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra (BHSO) for an afternoon of timeless orchestral favourites as the orchestra celebrates its 40th anniversary!

The concert opens with Jacques Offenbach’s Overture to Orpheus in the Underworld, which culminates in the iconic and exuberant Can-Can, followed by Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 in G Minor (First Movement) and the lush and lyrical Adagio from Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2. Enjoy the elegance of Tchaikovsky’s Waltz from The Sleeping Beauty, alongside Pearl Yim’s The Mermaid Odyssey, inspired by a tale of love between a sailor and a mermaid. The concert concludes with Camille Saint-Saëns’ Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah, a fiery and colourful orchestral showpiece.

Come and spend a beautiful, joyous Sunday of music and community with BHSO!
