The concert opens with Karl Jenkins’ powerful and deeply moving masterpiece, The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace — a modern choral classic that reflects both the tragedy of war and the enduring hope for reconciliation. Through stirring melodies, dramatic orchestral colours, and moments of profound reflection, the work stands as a heartfelt plea for peace in our world today.
The second half of the evening features a collection of world-renowned melodies celebrating peace, harmony, hope, and the shared spirit of humankind. Audiences can look forward to inspiring and uplifting music that transcends cultures and generations, reminding us of the universal longing for understanding and unity.
Presented by Vocal Associates, the concert features the Vocal Associates Chorus, Vocal Associates Youth and Children Ensemble, Timeless Singers, and VA Solo Artistes, alongside a professional orchestra ensemble.
