As time matures into milestones and musical notes weave the tapestry of a life’s journey, five distinguished music professionals come together, in the prime of their forties, to present a thoughtfully curated concert that traces their personal stories of growing alongside Chinese music.
Conductor Moses Gay En Hui, Ruan musician Kenny Chan Jing Wen, Cheng Tzu Ting, harpist Fontane Liang Guoting, double bassist Wang Luyao take the stage as the featured musicians, while Artistic Planning Manager Teo Shu Rong as the narrator, each has selected a piece that holds special significance in their journey, reflecting how Chinese music has shaped their artistic lives and how it continues to connect, inspire, and evolve.
This concert also features three newly commissioned works by local composers, bridging past and future, reflecting Singapore’s distinctive cultural voice and expressing the performers’ shared vision to contribute to the ever-growing legacy of Chinese music in Singapore.
Join us in this celebration of tradition and innovation, and a heartfelt journey of reflection.
