Synopsis

Singapore and Taiwan are both vibrant cultural hubs in Asia, nurturing many outstanding musicians of international caliber. This concert unites artists from both Singapore and Taiwan, presenting a diverse program that includes classical masterpieces, folk song arrangements, and works by Taiwanese composer Wiwi Kuan. Through this collaboration, musicians from both regions will create unique sparks of artistry on stage.

Audiences can look forward to a rich and varied musical journey. Dr. Wu Yang from Singapore and pianist Yang Chien-Ying—both alumni of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory—will perform piano works from the Russian classical tradition, reflecting their strong Russian style and technique. Rising Singaporean talents Li Wuna Leona (piano,8 years old) and Wu Yueer Angela (violin, 9 years old) will also showcase their impressive skills. Joining them are U.S.-trained pianist Huang Kaiyin, cellist Lu Tsaulun, violinist Chao Heng-Chen, and renowned Taiwanese flutist Hung Chin-Ting.

The concerts will be held in both Singapore (10 Oct 2025) and Taiwan (28 Sep 2025), offering audiences in both places a refreshing and inspiring musical experience.
