Synopsis

The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra is Asia’s oldest orchestra and a driving force in shaping China’s classical music landscape across three centuries. Led by its Music Director Long Yu, the Shanghai Symphony makes its Singapore debut with this sumptuous programme pairing Rachmaninoff’s magnificent Second Symphony with the talents of two young Chinese stars: a delectable offering of dishes from Chinese Kitchen: A Feast of Flavours by prolific composer Elliot Leung; and acclaimed pianist Serena Wang who stars in Tchaikovsky’s electrifying Piano Concerto No. 1.

  • Parents or guardians of children who become disruptive during the performance may be requested by venue staff to step out of the hall with the child.

  • Each individual must have a ticket for admission.

  • Strictly no admission for infant-in-arms and toddlers.

  • Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the show or during intermission, if any.

  • Photos, video and audio recording are strictly NOT allowed when artistes are performing. These are allowed when artistes are not performing, such as during bows and applause. Please disable camera flash before taking photos.

When a show is cancelled, ticket buyers will be duly notified by the event organiser primarily via email. You may also be notified through the event organiser's authorised ticketing agent, media or any other applicable communication channels. Information will be provided on where and when you can get your refund. For postponed performances for which the date of the new performance is known, refunds are optional.
