¡Ole! Expect sumptuous songs, Flamenco rhythms, wry humour and an orchestral swirl of colours unique to the French masters in this evening of music inspired by Spain. Ravel’s one-act comédie musicale The Spanish Hour will be semi-staged with Singaporean mezzo-soprano Jade Tan in the leading role, while baritone Bo Skovhus serenades his perfect lady in the enchanting songs of Don Quichotte à Dulcinée. This magical night conducted by Singapore Symphony Music Director Hans Graf also displays the orchestra in Ravel’s full sonic canvas, from the evocative Rapsodie espagnole to the electrifying, utterly unforgettable Boléro. With surtitles in English.

You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time. Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the show or during intermission, if any.
