Once upon a time, there was a poor orphan boy named Ma Liang. Although he loved to draw, he was also too poor to afford a paintbrush so he used coal and a stick instead. His dedication moved the gods and they bestowed on him a magical paintbrush that brought everything he drew to life! He used the powers of the paintbrush to help the poor villagers, but when the greedy Emperor heard of this, he captured Ma Liang and forced him to paint gold and silver for him instead.

Will Ma Liang be able to escape the Emperor’s clutches and outwit his evil plans? Find out in this exciting production of The Magic Paintbrush!
