Synopsis
Singing as Therapy is an experiential workshop where participants explore how singing can support their own connection, resilience, and well-being. Through guided vocal activities, you'll experience the therapeutic impact of the voice—regardless of your musical background—while reflecting on how singing can enrich daily life and self-care.
Led by credentialed music therapist and vocal coach Hanna Ma, the workshop also introduces how singing and voicework are applied in professional music therapy settings. You'll gain insight into how these practices support individuals and communities across the lifespan, including neonatal care, special education, mental health, and dementia care.
